Alternative Formats
How to Request
- Registered with SDS:
Contact your Disability Specialist each semester to request alternative formats for your courses. - Not registered with SDS:
Complete the SDS registration process at www.utsa.edu/disability/accommodations or call 210-458-4157.
Plan Ahead
- Submit request 4–6 weeks before the semester begins
- Some materials may take longer to convert, especially technical content
- Late requests are processed as quickly as possible but may be delayed
Your Responsibilities
- Be enrolled in your courses
- Provide proof of purchase for textbooks
- Share course syllabi to help prioritize materials
