UTSA University Technology Solutions (UTS) will be performing maintenance and a system upgrade to the Banner Student Information System. The following applications will be inaccessible from Friday, October 11, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. to Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1 p.m.:

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has received reports that some users off-campus with Spectrum as their internet service provider are unable to connect to UTSA websites. We have reached out to Spectrum to make them aware of the disruption and are awaiting their issue resolution.

We have also been notified that some users attempting to reach external websites from on-campus are having intermittent disruptions. OIT is aware that users attempting to access external cloud hosted UTSA related sites such as SharePoint, Qualtrics, 25Live, and Pearson VUE are experiencing disruptions.

We are investigating the issue and will provide more information as it becomes available.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will be upgrading the CrashPlan desktop application on Friday, November 30, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. During this time, you may see a screen pop-up stating that CrashPlan is upgrading to version 6.7.2. You can disregard this screen as no action is needed on your part.

This upgrade will improve functionality both in the server and application client environment. No change should be experienced in the way you access and utilize the CrashPlan desktop client.

Once the upgrade is complete, your system will continue to backup as normal.

Note: Whenever accessing the CrashPlan client, you will be prompted to enter your myUTSA ID (abc123) and passphrase.

OIT is therefore utilizing all resources and working on site in conjunction with our vendor Aruba, to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
