President Taylor Eighmy

The University of Texas at San Antonio

Taylor Eighmy, PhD, is the inaugural president of The University of Texas at San Antonio and its academic health center, UT San Antonio Health Science Center. Prior to this appointment by the UT System Board of Regents, he served eight years as the president of UTSA. He has served as the chief research officer at three top public flagship universities: the University of New Hampshire, Texas Tech University and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Eighmy earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Tufts University, and his Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
