Administration and Operations' four core teams provide key support to the Business Affairs division: Business Contracts, Business Service Center, Risk and Emergency Management, and Strategic Communications. The Recovery Operations team manage the consolidated operational response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Business Contracts team supports the educational and research missions of the university by facilitating the execution of business service contracts, while ensuring the protection of the university and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures.

The Business Service Center's team of specialists and analysts provide financial management and transactional processing services to various units at UTSA.

Our Risk and Emergency Management team oversees efforts to prevent, prepare and respond to campus emergencies to lessen the lasting impact of these events.

Strategic Communications team members work with departments in the division to develop strategies for communicating across UTSA channels, providing content strategy, marketing and design support, and website redesign and maintenance.
