Various offices on campus oversee data list management for UTSA’s various external constituencies.
Current Students
Current student data is stored in the university’s student information system BANNER, which is managed by the Registrar’s office. In reference to accessing student contact information for communication:
- Academic Strategic Communication oversees the Mass Emails to Students request process for offices that wish to send marketing messages out to the student body.
- Enrollment Marketing, Communications, and Systems streamlines transactional communications for various offices on campus.
Prospective/New Students
Enrollment Marketing, Communications, and Systems oversees enrollment communications to prospective and incoming UTSA students through the university’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Alumni/Donor
Advancement and Alumni Engagement oversees the university’s database of alumni, friends and stakeholders through UTSA’s enterprise donor management systems. To request a list for direct mail or email to these constituencies, submit a ticket through Advancement's portal in ServiceNow.
