On November 19, Governor Abbott issued Executive Order GA-48. This order creates additional requirements for Texas public higher education institutions and other state agencies regarding activities involving China, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Russia and Venezuela.
Today, we’re writing to share further progress and forecast what you can expect to learn more about early in the new year.
It has been an extraordinarily busy season, filled with many opportunities for the growth and advancement of our university, but with some challenges too. As we close out this semester, we want to take a moment to celebrate how far we have come as a campus community.
In an effort to support the continued well-being of our campus community, UTSA will proceed with remote operations on January 2 and 3. Overall, our goal is to reduce on-campus operations on these days, and we ask that employees conduct remote operations whenever possible.
