Lighting improvements to Downtown Campus parking lots

The Monterey parking lot and the area directly outside of the Monterey Building received new lighting, including 17 parking lot lamps, 10 new LED wall-packs, and the replacement of existing floodlights with LED lamps. Brighter, more efficient lighting will enhance campus safety and is more cost-effective for the university over time.
Additionally, the Downtown Campus Garage now has LED lighting with motion sensors.
Lighting in all UTSA surface parking lots at the Downtown Campus (Cattleman's Square Lot, Durango Loop Lot, Monterey Lot, and the parking lots underneath I-35/I-10) are set to automatically turn on at 8:30 p.m. and remain on until the morning.
