The Strategic Enrollment Planning Task Force met on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Members of the task force heard from Dr. Brad L. Goan, a Ruffalo Noel-Levitz consultant, on the fundamentals of strategic enrollment planning and the shape of our work together over the next eight months.
The goal of the task force is to strategically align UTSA with its environment to promote stability, sustainability, growth and excellence. The first phase of work for the task force includes establishing five key working groups that will focus on situational analyses and strategy ideation as we look to create long-term, practical, data-informed and tangible action plans. The working groups and the respective chair for each are as follows:
- Undergraduate Academic Programs – Heather Shipley
- Graduate Academic Programs – DeBrenna Agbenyiga
- Finances/Financial Aid – Lisa Blazer
- Recruitment and Marketing – Beverly Woodson-Day
- Student Success – Rhonda Gonzales (utilizing our current Student Success Task Force)
Over the coming weeks, the working groups will be established and will include members of the task force as well as other key individuals across the campus. The next meeting with Ruffalo Noel-Levitz will be December 5-6, 2017.
