UTSA Facilities offers new online cost-estimate tool for event planning
(Aug. 26, 2013) -- At the request of campus customers and to help ensure successful campus events, the UTSA Facilities Office has developed a campus events support policy and an events cost quote tool to assist in planning special events, athletic events, camps and other events.
>> The Events Cost Estimate Spreadsheet (quote tool) provides an immediate and consistent approach to estimate costs for custodial and maintenance services.
Events supported by Facilities on UTSA campuses must have an approved work order. Work requests must be submitted through the iService Desk. Facilities Work Control will then provide a firm cost quotation for all events with fewer than 500 attendees. Events with more than 500 attendees require a custom quote and will be sent to the Facilities manager of housekeeping and event services for processing.
Note: Event planning for facilities in the University Center is handled separately by Events Management and Conference Services.
