North Thermal Energy Plant: Ten-hour Steam Outage

(May 11, 2015) -- The North Thermal Energy Plant steam system will be shut down for approximately 10 hours (6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) on Saturday, May 16, 2015 for leak repairs and preventive maintenance.

During this time, there will be no comfort heating and domestic hot water available for use in sinks, restrooms, kitchens, autoclaves and cage-washers located at the:

Main Building

John Peace Library

Arts Building

University Center and H-E-B University Center

Engineering Building

Flawn Sciences Building

Bioscience Building

Biotechnology, Sciences and Engineering Building

Multidisciplinary Studies Building

McKinney Humanities Building

Business Building

Physical Education Building

Bosque Street Building

Convocation Center

Recreation Wellness Center

Steam will be turned back on immediately following completion of work at 4:00 p.m.
