The maintenance of Brackenridge Road Lots 1 and 2, which began May 8, 2015, will continue in phases through June, with cooperation from the weather.

Work will be done one section at a time to minimize the impact. If drivers are unable to find parking in their desired area, they are urged to visit the next closest area allowed by their permit type.

Business Auxiliary Services is encouraging drivers to take advantage of the benefits of garage parking during the summer. Covered parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. In many cases garage parking is closer and more convenient to many campus buildings.

To upgrade, parking permit holders should speak with an attendant in the Bauerle Road or Ximenes Avenue garages for an exchange. The prorated price will result in a minimal adjustment to the payroll deduction.

For permit holders who have not done so already, now is the best time to secure a permit for next year. It is not necessary to wait until the last minute. No money is due now. Employees sign up through next year's payroll deduction. Students apply it to next year's tuition bill.
