UTSA Roadrunner Days: Events schedule for Monday, Aug. 17

(Aug. 17, 2015) – UTSA Roadrunner Days continues today with the Fall Convocation, PlayFair, the second annual inaugural UTSA Midnight Light ceremony and other spirited events.

The official kick-off of the new academic year, UTSA Roadrunner Days features a series of themed events running through Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Main and Downtown campuses. The events and activities give students an opportunity to take part in time-honored UTSA traditions and connect with UTSA resources.

Today's schedule includes:

Honors College New Student Breakfast
8:30 a.m., University Center North, Denman Room (UC 2.01.28)

Fall Convocation (Last Names A-L)
10-11 a.m., Convocation Center

PlayFair (Last Names M-Z)
10-11:30 a.m., Campus Recreation Center

Convocation Luncheon
11 a.m.-1 p.m., Convocation Center East Lawn

Fall Convocation (Last Names M-Z)
1:30-2:30 p.m., Convocation Center

PlayFair (Last Names A-L)
1-2:30 p.m., Campus Recreation Center

Intended Major Exploration
3-4:30 p.m., Various locations across the university (see website for details)

Transfer Welcome
3-4:30 p.m., University Center North, Denman Room (UC 2.01.28)

Inclusion Block Party
5-6:30 p.m., H-E-B University Center Ballroom

Second Annual UTSA Midnight Light Ceremony
11:30 p.m., Main Campus Entrance, John Peace Circle
