UTSA Athletics to honor 58 graduates in virtual ceremony

MAY 20, 2021 — The UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will honor 58 student-athlete graduates from the spring and summer 2021 classes in a virtual ceremony that will take place at 8 p.m. tonight.

The ceremony will air live on the UTSA Athletics Facebook account and feature messages from university and department leaders. It also will be available on-demand following the conclusion of the live ceremony. A Facebook account is not required to watch either the live or on-demand broadcast.

“We are so proud of our student-athletes for achieving this significant milestone in their academic careers,” said Lisa Campos, vice president for intercollegiate athletics at UTSA. “It takes a lot of hard work, responsibility and dedication to earn a college degree, and this group accomplished that, even with the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has presented during the last year.
