UTSA announces 2025 home football game against UIW

JULY 29, 2024 — UTSA Athletics officials on Friday announced that the football program will host UIW on September 13, 2025, at the Alamodome.

This will mark the second time the Roadrunners and Cardinals will meet on the gridiron. UTSA registered a 35-7 victory in the previous meeting with UIW on August 31, 2019, at the Alamodome.

With Friday’s announcement, UTSA now has all four non-conference games scheduled for 2025. The Roadrunners will host Texas State on September 6, 2025, after opening the campaign at Texas A&M on August 30 in College Station, giving the Roadrunners three in-state opponents for next year’s non-league slate. UTSA also will travel to Fort Collins to face Colorado State on September 20 in the first game of a home-and-home series with the Rams in 2025 and 2026.

The Roadrunners will kick off the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31, when they host Kennesaw State at 2:30 p.m. at the Alamodome.

Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-UTSA (8872) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Current UTSA football season-ticket holders may renew their tickets by logging into their UTSA Account Manager
