Outreach

Counseling Services routinely engages in prevention and outreach activities regarding mental health for students, faculty, and students’ families. We collaborate regularly with departments on campus, course instructors, and student organizations to provide structured trainings, didactic presentations, engaging activities, panels, and facilitated discussions on a variety of topics.

Examples of presentation topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Overview of Counseling Services
  • Referring to Counseling Services
  • Helping Students in Distress
  • Time Management Skills
  • Stress Management
  • Adjusting to College
  • Body Image

Request a Presentation

To inquire about scheduling a presentation, please submit the following information and we will contact you to follow up and confirm. Please submit your requests at least two to three week prior to the event. We attempt to cover all requests, but during peak times in the semester we may limit the number of requests accepted. We suggest making arrangements as early in the semester as possible.

Please fill out the Counseling Services online form.
