The Dispute Resolution Clause

In all University contracts, (except in the cases noted below), one of the following Dispute Resolution provisions must be inserted:

Dispute Resolution Provision for Contracts with a cost less than $25,000

Dispute Resolution Provision for Contracts with a cost greater than $25,000

Services Agreement for Independent Contractors

All necessary forms and guidelines may be found in Public Folders - UTSA Forms - Associate VP for Administration Folder.

Services Agreements should route through the Associate Vice President for Administration unless they are research contracts in which case they route through the Office for Sponsored Programs.

Please use appropriate routing sheet. Please call the Office of the AVPA at x6491 if you have any questions.

If the cost of the of Agreement is more than $5000, an electronic purchase request (PB4) for the services should be sent to the Purchasing Office. Once the PB4 is received in the Purchasing Office, the most appropriate contracting method and/or document will be determined.
