2008 United to Serve

UTSA Volunteer Services Would like to thank all of the volunteers who participated in the 2008 United to Serve Program. We were able to staff a total of 11 projects with approximately 250 volunteers. All of the participants recieved a United to Serve T-shirt and an invitation to the United to Serve Volunteer Appreciation Ice Cream Social on Wednesday April 16th. We look forward to planning for 2009 with the hopes that we will increase participation and projects. Again, thank you all for your time and volnteerism.

About United to Serve
United to Serve is a system-wide volunteer initiative involving UT System students, administrators, faculty and staff in an effort to engage and mobilize thousands of volunteers in the communities where we are located. The specific date for the 2009 United to Serve program will be determined later in the year. University of Texas at San Antonio Volunteer Services will provide updates as they become available. This event will be open to UTSA students, faculty and staff who want to give back to their community by volunteering at various locations with various agencies in the San Antonio area.
It is a day for UTSA to make a difference!
