Telecommuter Employee Parking Pass
Telecommuter Pass Discontinued
As of Aug. 1, 2026, the Telecommuter Employee Parking Pass is no longer available for new purchases. Current Telecommuter Passes are in the process of being phased out. Current passholders may continue using their Telecommuter passes while Campus Services explores new product offerings.
Campus Services is exploring new flexible parking options for employees who commute to campus less frequently. In the meantime, employees who need occasional garage parking are encouraged to use FastPass, which provides convenient, ticketless access to hourly parking at Main Campus garages.
Using Your Existing Telecommuter Pass
Current Telecommuter Passes are in the process of being phased out. Current passholders may continue using Telecommuter Passes while Campus Services explores new product offerings.
Current Telecommuter Passes may be used at any Main Campus garage:
- Ximenes Avenue Garage
- Bauerle Road Garage
- Tobin Avenue Garage
Display the hangtag from your rearview mirror and enter your preferred garage. The RFID sensors at the garage gates will read your pass when you enter and exit, and the applicable hourly parking fee will automatically be deducted from your remaining balance.
Flexible Parking Options
FastPass is a reloadable RFID tag recommended for employees only parking on campus occasionally. FastPass provides convenient access to hourly garage parking without pulling a ticket or stopping at a cashier window.
Additionally, daily use scratch-off permits are a flexible and affordable parking option available to academic campus students and employees. Purchase at a garage cashier window, scratch off the correct month and date when you wish to use the permit, park in an eligible space based on the indicated permit type and hang it from the vehicle rear-view mirror with the scratched-off portion clearly visible. Daily-use permits are available on the Main Campus at the Bauerle Road Garage and Ximenes Avenue Garage cashier windows and at the Campus Services downtown office, located in the Frio Street Building, room 2.424C. Daily-use permits are $7 each and there is no limit on how many can be purchased.
