Occupational Health & Environmental Safety
The University of Texas at San Antonio is committed to providing a safe and productive working environment for all employees, students, and volunteers. The Occupational Health Program supports the safety of all individuals working within UTSA animal facilities, and those with potential exposure to certain biological, chemical and other physical hazards. Through routine environmental testing, spill response, hazardous waste disposal and recycling, the Environmental Safety Management Program ensures responsible handling of environmental issues in accordance with Texas state law and industry best practices. The Construction Safety Program minimizes risks and protects the UTSA community as the university continues to grow.
