UTSA Celebrates Pride Month
June 10, 2021
June is National Pride Month, which commemorates and celebrates LGBTQ activism and culture. UTSA’s Multicultural Student Center for Equity and Justice, the Pride Faculty and Staff Association, the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and the Spectrum student organization will host and attend various events throughout June, including:
- Pride Month trivia game
- Virtual panel on “What Does Pride Month Mean to You”
- Screening of “Hap Veltman’s San Antonio Country”
- San Antonio Pride Parade
Inclusive Excellence kicked off Pride Month at UTSA with the launch of the LGBTQ+ site. Visit the site to find resources, a video wall, and a list of other events offered throughout the month, including a Pride FSA Happy Hour on June 18. Download UTSA Pride Zoom Backgrounds to use throughout Pride Month and beyond.
