Looking back on five years in Business Affairs

Dear Business Affairs,
Earlier this month, we hosted our Business Affairs Let’s Chat! Virtual Town Hall. During the event, I shared that January marks five years since I joined UTSA. Together, we reflected on major accomplishments over the past several years. I am proud to celebrate the major milestones we’ve reached in providing exemplary service, cultivating an inspiring workplace, fostering a welcoming campus environment and connecting with our community. I also took time during the town hall to share what is on the horizon for Business Affairs. Looking ahead, we have many exciting projects to anticipate, including new buildings, enhanced services for students and employees and opportunities to create more efficient systems. Each of our teams within Business Affairs is essential to achieving these goals, and I am so grateful for your dedication and shared vision for the future.
As I reflect on the many accomplishments over the last five years, I am struck most by the incredible colleagues I get to work alongside. UTSA is a very special community where we share trust with one another, celebrate professional and personal accomplishments and work collaboratively to provide exemplary support for our Tier One institution. Together, we make a profound difference in the lives of our students, and in the lives of each other. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly to UTSA five years ago and for your support each step along this journey. We have accomplished great things, and I am truly excited to see what we will achieve next as we continue to work in partnership with one another.
