Three Reasons Why You Should Enter the #UDesign Permit Design Contest

Posted March 2, 2018, by Sara Flores

There’s only one week left in the 2018-19 #UDesign Parking Permit Design Contest! If you love UTSA and want a chance to sharpen your creative skills, submit your original photo or digital layout. If you’re not yet convinced, read why Campus Services makes this contest worth your while.

1. You could win a free garage parking permit (or other great items).

The first place winner of the #UDesign Permit Design Contest receives a free student garage parking permit for the 2018-19 school year! Choose from any of the Main Campus garages, based on availability.

The second place winner receives a FastPass loaded with $100 for hourly garage parking. Park in any Main Campus garage at the hourly rate without waiting in line at the cashier window. The third place winner receives a swag bag full of Campus Services goodies. Who doesn’t love free swag?

2. Show off your creativity.

Engage your artistic thinking and show your Roadrunner Pride! Last year, Jasmine Goodsaid won for her clean sporty design using UTSA colors. Remember, designs should represent the university as a whole without focusing on a specific college, department, or program. View all entry rules and details here.

3. Gain campus bragging rights.

With over 29,000 UTSA parking permits purchased last year, you could see your hard work displayed throughout the greater San Antonio community! All design entries should clearly incorporate the letter “C.” The winning design will become adapted for all 2018-19 UTSA parking permits. What could create a greater sense of pride than seeing your design used by your classmates, professors, and friends?

Don’t delay— your original design could be this year’s winning entry!

Submit your work and information now through Friday, March 9. Read the contest rules here and download everything you need with our template kit.
