UTSA offers a variety of short-term parking options, including hourly paid parking, daily scratch-off permits, and permit-free parking times.
Hourly Paid Parking
$2/hour. Payment required at paystation or garage cashier window. Available at the following locations:
Weekend and Evening Parking
Drivers can take advantage of permit-free parking options in Employee A, Employee B, and unmarked Commuter spaces only during the times below. This policy applies at both the Main and Downtown Campuses, regardless of permit status.
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Friday: 4:30 pm – 7:00 am the following Monday
Daily Scratch-Off Permits
Single-use daily parking permits are an affordable visitor parking option. Scratch off the correct month and date, then hang the permit from vehicle rear-view mirror with the scratched off date fully visible.
Permits must be purchased by a UTSA student or employee at the BRG or XAG garage cashier stations on the Main Campus, or at Campus Services (FS 2.418) on the Downtown Campus. View scratch-off permit options on our Parking Permits page, under the Other Permits dropdown.
