All workshop registrations for Test Preparation Workshops are handled online. There is a "Register Now" link on every test information page that takes you to a fillable field that collects your contact and payment information in a secured environment. If you experience any errors or complications during the process, please call us directly at 458-2411 so that we can assist you in registration, verify your enrollment, and more.
This is a great feature we have. You can look up how many remaining workshop openings by clicking on the "Register Here" link. Instantaneous and dynamic workshop openings are displayed under "Enroll Yourself". However, if enrolling yourself is not available, it means the workshop is full. You may see this instead:
You will then be given the option to add yourself to the waiting list. Please know, once you are on the waiting list and a spot becomes available for you, you have 24 hours after we contact you with instructions to enroll. If you do not return our attempts to contact or fail to enroll within those 24 hours, your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.
For this reason, it is important that you provide us with the best number to contact you during your registration. Because there can be a lengthy list of wait-listers, we also ask that you let us know if you are no longer interested in the workshop so that we may offer the workshop to the next available spot.
Due to the nature of our hard-working and dedicated participants, this happens often. You will need simply need to contact your instructor so that they can fill you on what you will be missing, what homework you should review in your absence, and more. It is up to you to keep up with the workshop and any readings and/or assignments. You will find the instructor contact information on the workshop description pages.
You can arrange to take it on your own by contacting your instructor before workshop. The pre-diagnostic and post-diagnostics can also be taken off campus. Please call our offices so that we may put you in contact with your instructor, keeping you on track.
We offer Early Bird (discounted) parking permits to our registered participants that are non-UTSA students/faculty/staff members. Early Bird permits can can be purchased online when registering for your workshop.
Early Bird price expires two Friday’s before the start of a Saturday workshop. Permits purchased after Early Bird Date will be sold at $7 a day/per session. If you purchased parking permits, an email with parking information will be sent to you two Friday’s before the start of your workshop. If you do not purchase parking permit, you will need to use visitor parking in order to not receive a ticket.
Some things to know if you do not currently hold a student or staff UTSA pass: If you park in a University lot without a pass, you will receive a ticket. If you park at certain businesses near our workshop locations and then walk off those premises to attend workshop, you will most likely be towed. Near some of our workshop locations there are meters on the streets of San Antonio, but there is no guarantee you will be able to find an open spot.
Tickets received while attending a UTSA EXtended Education workshop are the responsibility of the party ticketed. We do our best to provide you with information on the ability to purchase passes and encourage you to not park without a permit. Calls concerning tickets will need to be directed to UTSA's Business Auxiliary Services at (210) 458-7275.
