Linda Vaello first joined UTSA in fall 2001 and has taught both undergraduate and graduate level accounting for over 20 years. She was recognized with the Outstanding Accounting Educator Award by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants in 2014, and is a member and former director of the San Antonio Certified Public Accountants Society (SACPA).

Vaello has presented her work at refereed conferences, including the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (TXCPA) Accounting Educators Conference in 2019.

At UTSA, Vaello has served on multiple committees for course development and coordination within her department, and she currently serves as chair of the ACC 2033 online course development committee. She is also the online teaching faculty champion for her department, assisting fellow faculty with online teaching pedagogy by helping them convert in-person courses to a fully online format.

Vaello earned her Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
