The Global Summer Institute Guidelines
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a degree program at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
There is a $400 cost to go on the trip to Germany. First Payment of $200 will be due May 31, 2024. Second Payment of $200 will be due June 21,2024.
* Please note this experience qualifies for the Experiential Learning Scholarship! If selected, the scholarship application link will be sent to you.
Everyone traveling abroad will need a passport. If you do not have a passport or need to renew the one you have please use this link to get more information.
The average cost for a passport is $165 and they take approximately 3-5 weeks to arrive!

Class Session Location: UTSA 1604 Campus - Room TBD
- Class sessions will meet every Tuesday and Thursday 9 am-12 pm.
- The first and last sessions are mandatory.
- All sessions are in person.
- Excused absences will be appointed on a 1:1 basis not exceeding 2.
