Bold Champions

A Bold New Era

Bold Champions is a campaign focused on more than just bricks and mortar. It is about our pride and our promise to continue a legacy of transformation and evolution into a bold future.

Our 17 NCAA Division I sports programs boast nearly 400 talented student-athletes. In 2021, UTSA earned its membership into the American Athletic Conference and Roadrunners Football celebrated a historic season in addition to qualifying for its third bowl game in its 10-year history. This success is a result of the dedication of our outstanding student-athletes and coaching staff, and the commitment of our generous alumni and donors who believe in our bold vision.

Better facilities lead to better opportunity, and that opportunity will lead our athletes to reach new heights and even more amazing achievements.

First-class sports and training facilities make a meaningful difference for student-athletes.

The Practice Pavilion will help protect student-athletes from inclement weather in South Texas, which is known for its extreme heat temperatures during the summer months. Roadrunner Athletic Fund

RAF Logo

UTSA student-athletes deserve a positive and invigorating experience in the classroom and in the athletic arena.

UTSA Athletics established the Roadrunner Athletics Fund, which creates greater scholarship and experiential learning opportunities. Every dollar received is used to enhance student development in academics, athletics, and life skills.

Elevate the student-athlete experience
The donations to the Roadrunner Athletic Fund have helped many student-athletes accomplish dreams that began as kids. This fund and so many other parts of UTSA have continually helped equip and educate many student-athletes, further enabling them. Not many people get the opportunity to become a Division 1 athlete, but I know that the Roadrunner Athletic Fund has helped make that possible for a lot of people.
