utsa law school fairThe UTSA Institute for Law and Public Affairs (ILPA) and the Southwest Association of Prelaw Advisors (SWAPLA) are pleased to host the annual Law School Fair for students interested in attending law school.

UTSA ranks among the top 100 law school feeder institutions nationwide and is one of only nine institutions across Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas selected as a SWAPLA law fair destination. In addition, UTSA is the only location in San Antonio and the southernmost location in Texas for individuals to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn directly from law school admissions professionals.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from approximately 90 ABA approved law schools (including all law schools in Texas), and learn about admissions, financing, course offerings, student life, program reputation, with the opportunity to gain application fee waivers. Attending the fair will give aspiring law school students the opportunity to ask questions that will assist to decide the law school that suits them best.

Applying to law school is a challenging process. Law school aspirants should start early to prepare a strong application as a substantial amount of time and effort is required for this process. Come and learn about the diverse components of the law school application!

Often times, law school applicants devote a lot time and energy on getting into law school but very little on doing research to understand how much it costs and how to pay for it. The presenter will discuss the cost of law school, how to pay for it, the financial aid process, and free resources for law school aspirants.

Offered by Law School Admission Council (LSAC)

Attendees will get the latest updates on the Digital LSAT and writing experience for candidates. Participants will be guided through an overview of the Digital LSAT’s features and the flexible test day experience.
