Venu Nair

Venu Nair is a Senior Associate Counsel, the Public Information Officer and Record Retention Officer at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Mr. Nair has nearly two decades of practice experience in litigation, labor and employment, and higher education. Prior to his representation of UTSA, he represented Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation, major health care organizations in labor and employment matters, and academic teaching hospitals and school systems in higher education. Mr. Nair is originally from Mobile, AL, and he is a graduate of the University of Alabama, the University of Texas School of Law, and the George Washington University School of Business.
Sandra J.G. White
Sandra J.G. White is a Senior Associate Counsel and the Chief Privacy Officer at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Mrs. White has over nineteen years of legal experience and is responsible for privacy matters, intellectual property and general education law, such as contracts, personnel issues, student matters and policy review at UTSA. Prior to UTSA, Sandra represented school districts and businesses as outside general counsel for over fifteen years. Prior to practicing law, Sandra was an intern for two federal judges: Honorable Harry L. Hupp of the Central District of California and Stephen F. Reinhardt of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has published copyright articles in the UCLA Entertainment and Southwestern Law Reviews.
Sandra is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in mass communications. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. Sandra holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) credential accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Natalee Marion

Natalee Marion is an Associate Counsel at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Prior to her representation of UTSA, she served as an advisor to private businesses and public-sector employers, including colleges and universities, on a range of employment-related matters. Ms. Marion previously served as an associate attorney for Littler Mendelson, PC, an assistant attorney general for the Office of the Texas Attorney General, a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Pamela Mathy of the Western District of Texas, and a briefing attorney for the Eleventh Court of Appeals in Eastland, Texas. Ms. Marion is from San Antonio, Texas. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, and the St. Mary’s School of Law.

Kathleen Blanton is the Open Records Manager in the Office of Legal Affairs at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She is responsible for processing open records requests per the Texas Public Information Act. Ms. Blanton joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2015 and has 22 years of experience as a paralegal. She earned her BA Degree in English from James Millikin University and is a graduate of the UTSA Paralegal Program.
