Fall 2026 Governance Exception: 

Jessica Dawson, Associate Dean of Students Oversight 

Due to the absence of a seated Student Government Association Senate during the Fall 2026 election cycle, the normal Judicial Branch structure outlined in the election bylaws will not be operational. For the Fall 2026 elections only, election oversight, review of election complaints, adjudication of alleged election code violations, and determination of appropriate remedies or sanctions shall be conducted by: 

• The Associate Dean of Students, serving as the administrative oversight authority;
• Three student members of the Election Commission, who shall collectively serve in the role of the Judicial Branch for all election-related matters.

This temporary structure shall exercise the authorities otherwise assigned to the Judicial Branch under the Election Bylaws and Procedures. All decisions rendered through this process shall be considered official election determinations for the Fall 2026 election cycle.
