The UTSA Research Excellence & Doctoral Education Recovery tactical team is focused on re-starting in-person research and lab activities while supporting the health and wellness of the Roadrunner research community. The team is following directives from federal, state, and local oversight authorities to safeguard public health while phasing in on-campus research activities to advance research excellence and graduate education.

Strategic Plan Midpoint Update (Fall 2022)
UTSA’S Tactical Team for Research Excellence and Graduate Education, co-chaired by Bernard Arulanandam (former) Vice President for Research, Economic Development, and Knowledge Enterprise, and Ambika Mathur, Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School, completed its report to provide advice and recommendations regarding continuing operations during the COVID-19 pandemic for doctoral students, certain master’s students and researchers.
