‘Runners, it's November and we’re closing in on finals and exams. Student Affairs is hosting a variety of stress-relieving events throughout the month of November to get you all through to the winter break! All of the following events are “drop-in events” you can stop by and head out when you are ready. These events are for everyone, of any skill level, so please come by to learn and play in a judgment-free zone!

You asked for it and we listened! Therapy Dogs are back at Campus Rec. on Wednesday, November 10 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Reserve your place for some quality time with some of your favorite dogs before spots fill up!

Unwind before the Grind at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9. After a quick stretch break in the JPL Laptop Lounge, join Campus Rec for a full-body flow incorporating chair yoga and guided meditation in the JPL Assembly Room.

 

We will be having open journaling sessions the week of Monday, November 8 through Thursday, November 11 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Come in and journal your thoughts. The Mental Health Peers will be having a Paint a Pot art session on Tuesday, November 9 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. come in to paint some succulent pots, listen to some music, and relax with some art therapy.

Maybe you’re looking for a way to share with your peers and unwind about your feelings on finals in a safe and judgment-free zone, or you’re looking for tips from other peers on how they destress. Come join our Communi-Tea Conversation on Wednesday, November 17 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. immediately after we will be hosting one of our Art of Wellbeing from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
