2.14 - Event Space Substitutions

Part of efficiently using event space on the UTSA Main Campus is scheduling events in meeting spaces that correspond with an event's size and purpose.  The Office of Events Management & Conference Services (EMCS) has the latest space availability information and understands the capabilities of Main Campus meeting spaces. This knowledge allows them to best match event needs with meeting spaces.

EMCS is charged with managing UTSA Student Union (UTSA Student Union ) event spaces and scheduling events on the UTSA Main Campus. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis within the UTSA Student Union and the university's priority system. EMCS reserves the right to substitute a space comparable to that requested upon review of event details and other factors. Flagrant overestimation of event needs to secure a larger-than-needed space will not be tolerated.
