UTSA announces commencement dates for fall 2022 graduates

OCTOBER 4, 2022 — The University of Texas at San Antonio has announced the dates for its fall 2022 Commencement ceremonies.

In this defining moment of their academic journey, more than 3,000 UTSA students will be eligible to receive their degrees in one of two ceremonies on Tuesday, December 13, at the Alamodome.  

UTSA's first Commencement ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday the College for Health, Community and Policy, College of Liberal and Fine Arts and College of Sciences.  

The second Commencement ceremony begins at 3 p.m. for the Alvarez College of Business, College of Education and Human Development, Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design and University College.

The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will take place for doctoral graduates at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, in the H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms (HSU 1.104). Doctoral graduates are welcome to attend the ceremony for their academic college on Tuesday, but the hooding process occurs only at this ceremony.
