AUGUST 21, 2023 — This fall, Roadrunners can enjoy new dining locations at the Main Campus, as well as fresh new looks for existing favorites. These new and refreshed locations are open today, ready to enhance Roadrunners’ campus dining experience so they can properly kick off the fall semester.
NEW LOCATIONS
Prime Grill
Located in the Student Union Food Court, Prime Grill is one of latest sizzling hotspots for people looking to grab a quick bite to eat between classes. The menu features smash burgers, juicy chicken tenders, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and more. Open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays, Prime Grill is equipped with Grubhub Ultimate technology for a fast, convenient ordering experience.
Pizza Hut
The Business Building RowdyMart, always a convenient location to drop in for quick snacks and grab-and-go offerings, now includes a brand-new Pizza Hut for those stopping by in search of a warm, full meal. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays, Pizza Hut options include personal pan pizzas and pasta.
Mr. Meximum Food Truck
Rolling into the Sombrilla Plaza this fall, the new Mr. Meximum Food Truck is on a mission to deliver great food and friendly service to the Roadrunner community. Open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Mr. Meximum is a good spot for lunch or a tasty and filling afternoon snack. Stop by to try their quesadillas, hearty burritos, tacos and more.
REFRESHED LOCATIONS
Starbucks
Over the summer, the John Peace Library Starbucks underwent a full renovation. It now boasts a modern look with soothing neutral colors and sleek copper accents. New machinery and an expanded counter and prep space support a faster, more streamlined ordering process. Coffee lovers will enjoy more variety from the location’s new espresso machines, which will feature blonde, dark roast and decaf espresso. Mobile ordering is available through the Starbucks app, as well as through Grubhub for those who want to order ahead and pay with Dining Dollars or meal trades.
Roadrunner Café Patio
This fall, ’Runners can enjoy a revamped outdoor space on the Roadrunner Café’s patio, which promises to be a great space to enjoy the café’s wide variety of fresh food options. Renovations include a custom patio cover with fans to provide diners with relief from the Texas sun and plenty of new seating options. UTSA Dining will hold special events on the patio throughout the semester, starting with the Roadrunner Days Welcome Back Bash from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, September 1.
