MARCH 18, 2025 — The UTSA community will honor students, faculty and staff who passed away in 2024 at the annual Roadrunner Remembrance ceremony at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 21, in the Student Union Retama Auditorium (SU 2.02.02).
Roadrunner Remembrance will feature readings and music to recognize the contributions all of the honorees have made to UTSA. During the ceremony, a feather is placed in a nest to symbolize and honor each Roadrunner’s legacy. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
Guests at this year’s event will have the additional opportunity to paint a rock to be placed in the Memorial Garden as a token of affection for the deceased. Those interested in further memorializing their loved ones may personalize a brick to be placed in the Student Union Paseo. Details can be found on the Pave the Paseo website.
To see the lists of honorees from the previous four years, visit the Roadrunner Remembrance honoree page.
