Adaku (Ada) Agoh is a senior graduating in May 2020. Adaku aspires to one day be a doctor and help underprivileged families with affordable healthcare. Adaku is from Houston, TX and enjoys spending time with family, candy, and crime shows.
Andrea Rangel-Toledo is a second-year Resident Assistant in on-campus housing. Andrea is a first-generation Psychology student with the end goal of receiving a Master's degree in Counseling. Throughout college Andrea has held on-campus jobs consisting of mentoring other college students and found a passion for helping others find study techniques, student organizations and other campus resources.
Celeste Amaro is studying Marketing and will be graduating in May. Celeste is also from Waco, TX and has lived in San Antonio for three years. She has a lot of experience in helping students and is excited to be a resource for them!
Dante DeBlanc is a Houston, Texas native and will be a junior for the 2019-2020 school year. He is a third year Air Force ROTC cadet along with being a second year Resident Assistant. He is a Psychology major and Biology minor and wants to be an Acquisitions Officer in the United States Air Force. He has been recently selected to be a Residential Peer Coach and will be serving in the halls of Chaparral Village at UTSA.
Erick Garcia grew up in Laredo TX. He is a Senior/Cyber Security major. He enjoys playing soccer, swimming and learning new things.
Hunter Kim is a senior Computer Engineering major at UTSA. He has been a Residential Assistant for on-campus housing for three years, a leader in numerous student organizations and was crowned the 2018-2019 Mr. UTSA. He enjoys helping students achieve their full potential and has a passion for seeing his fellow peers succeed which is why he chose to become an Academic Peer Coach.
Katelyn is an Academic Peer Coach and Resident Assistant at Chaparral Village. Katelyn is a junior in college, majoring in Public Health with a minor in Biology. She wants to go to PA school after graduation, therefore she has a lot of experience with science courses! In her free time she likes to tend to her plants, eat good food, and listen to music.
Lauren Horton is a Senior here at UTSA and a Public Health major. Lauren is the President of Women in Leadership at UTSA as well as an RA at Laurel Village. Lauren is originally from Jackson MS but has lived in Texas for about 12 years and considers herself an adopted Texan! She hopes to one day use her background in leadership development and community engagement in the field of hospital administration.
Robynn Demen is from Houston, Texas and is pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management. She is a 2nd-year Resident Assistant for on-campus Residence Life at Laurel Village. After obtaining a degree from UTSA in May 2020, she hopes to open up her own bowling alley company in the near future. She is excited to be a part of a new pilot program of Academic Peer Coaching, not only for herself but to meet new residents and students along the way.
Sam Schraff is a Cyber Security major from Lexington, KY. He has been an RA at Alvarez and Laurel for two years and has somehow managed to both stay involved around campus and maintain a priority on classwork. He's very excited to dive into the RPC role and start meeting and impacting residents!
Trenten Wahlen, or T.J., was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He has lived there his entire life until moving to San Antonio two years ago to attend college. He is currently working on his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in business administration. In his spare time, T.J. enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as going to the gym. His passion is leaving a positive impact upon those around him!
Marina Zannino earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled at UTSA pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Aquatic biology. In the past three years, Marina has worked as an Intern for Malama Pupukea Waimea and Waimea Valley in Pupukea, Hawaii, Marine Biologist Aide at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, and a Research Assistant at START Cancer Center in San Antonio, Texas. She is excited to gain experience in helping students journey through their undergraduate career.
Sapna Naik has a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley and a master’s in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from UTSA. She worked in various positions at the Tomás Rivera Center from 2008 to 2013 but left to pursue her PhD in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University. She returned to her much warmer hometown of San Antonio in 2018 to finish her dissertation from a distance and to come back to her favorite place to work with students, UTSA.
