UTSA Libraries
Whether you need help doing research for a paper, a great study space, access to the latest technology or a place for your study group, the UTSA Libraries has everything you need to succeed.
UTSA's eight colleges collaborate and provide students with a top tier education. There are more than 130 degree programs offered to about 30,000 students.
For students aspiring to continue in a health-related profession, the Health Professions Office should be one of the first offices to visit once enrolled.
Pre-Law
Created as a partnership between UTSA and The University of Texas School of Law, The Institute for Law and Public Affairs (ILPA) prepares upper-level undergraduates for law school or careers in public affairs.
Academic Enrichment
UTSA offers a wide variety of programs to enrich educational opportunities for students. Programs such as Learning Communities, ROTC and the Honors College are designed to provide opportunities for research, service and leadership.
Advising at UTSA is tailored to each student's academic plans. Students with declared majors are advised in the Colleges' Freshman Advising Center during their first year to get the extra assistance freshmen need. Those who already are planning to go on to law school or medical school can benefit from UTSA's pre-professional programs.
Whether students need help passing a difficult class, researching, writing a term paper or landing a job, UTSA offers comprehensive and customized academic support to students through offices such as the UTSA Libraries, Student Computing Services, the University Career Center and others.
UTSA wants to make sure students have a great college experience inside and outside the classroom. To that end, the offices that handle the university's academic services work together to make the registration and tuition process as smooth as possible.
