The funding of the Programs in the CRTS comes from various sources: National Institute of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF); Institutional Funds, and Private donations, such as Pat & Tom Frost Foundation, and Sloan Foundation.

In the 2008-2009 fiscal year, the programs under CRTS are providing a total of $7,950,275.00 of funding support for research and training opportunities in the forms of scholarships/stipends and grants.
