The following information are general guidelines to our registration processes. For more specific registration information, please visit the specific offering you wish to attend.
We urge participants to register early due to the limited size of many of our classes. Our more popular workshops reach classroom capacity weeks before the classes begin. Course fees must be paid in full prior to the start of a class. Registration is collected online, unless otherwise specified on the specific page for the program or workshop. Please visit each class page for the online registration link or other directions for registration.
The Waiting List
For some of our more popular workshops, you may add yourself to a waiting list. If the class or workshop is full, you will see the image below on your registration screen under the class information:
Click the button to add yourself to the waiting list. There is no charge or deposit to add yourself to the waiting list. If there is a cancellation in the class, our staff will begin to go down the waiting list and contact list members with instructions. Once contacted, you will have 24 hours to contact us about your participation in the class and complete your payment. If we do not hear from you during these 24 hours, you will not get to enroll in the class. If you are no longer interested in the class and we contact you regarding the waiting list, we ask that you please let us know you are no longer interested so that we may offer the spot to the next person on the waiting list.
Course Cancellations and Changes
Courses are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not attained. Extended Education reserves the right to cancel low-enrollment courses when necessary, as well as change time, dates and locations of course offerings. If a class is cancelled, or changed, every effort will be made to notify participants by phone and/or email prior to the first class meeting. For cancelled courses, a full refund will be granted or the participants may request to be transferred to another course on a space-available basis.
UTSA Alumni Association Members
UTSA Alumni Association members with an active enrollment in the organization are entitled to a discount on most Extended Education classes. For more information, you can visit the UTSA Alumni website or call (210) 458-4133 for membership information.
