The Executive Leadership Cybersecurity Training Program is brought to the community by UTSA's Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS), in conjunction with, UTSA Extended Education.
Extended Education serves regional adult, professional and continuing education needs through a range of targeted programs that match the university’s unique resources with the lifelong learning needs of South Central Texas.
Operating out of the UTSA Downtown Campus, Extended Education works collaboratively with academic and non-academic units of the university to develop and present seminars, online courses, conferences and programs for the general public, professional and governmental agencies, and businesses. The Ponemon Institute conducted the survey for Hewlett-Packard. The Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) is one of UTSA’s premier cybersecurity Centers.
Established in 2001, the CIAS is developing the world's foremost center for multidisciplinary education and development of operational capabilities in the areas of infrastructure assurance and security. Our vision is to become the leader in the advancement of state and community cybersecurity capabilities and collaboration. The CIAS has successfully integrated efforts from academia, government, and private industry. The result has been a dynamic team dedicated to infrastructure assurance, research, and education. The CIAS delivers high-quality, high-impact cybersecurity events ranging from one-hour lectures to multi-day cybersecurity training classes, exercises and competitions.
