University Commencement Committee

Commencement at UTSA is an integral part of the academic journey for students and their families and friends, faculty, alums, and all members of the university community. A celebration befitting this milestone is vital to the spirited traditions expected of the university. The University Commencement Committee is charged with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and completing the University’s commencement activities and graduation ceremonies that end in a manner that upholds what UTSA’s Alma Mater beseeches for our graduates—"Through the years, our loyalty will grow.”

The committee shall be comprised of at least one representative from each of the units below. Each representative shall be appointed by the associated vice president and serve until replaced.

The University Leadership Council shall be consulted as necessary.
