Sync your OneDrive for Business library to your computer

  1. Go to​.
  2. Click on the MyUTSA dropdown at the top of the page.
  3. Select Staff Webmail to access the OWA (Online Web App).
  4. Log in using your MyUTSA username and password.
  5. Choose OneDrive from the menu at the top.
  1. Select the Sync button.
  2. At the prompt, click Sync Now to start the sync app wizard. The wizard automatically fills in the name and web address of your OneDrive for Business library.
  3. Select Sync Now in the wizard to start syncing. You can click Show my files… in the wizard to open the synced OneDrive for Business library folder in File Explorer. The folder is listed in your Favorites with the name "OneDrive for Business" or "OneDrive @ CompanyName."


Transfering Files to OneDrive


To save files to OneDrive from a desktop app

When you're using a desktop app like Microsoft Office Word or Excel, you can also save files directly to OneDrive. Click Save in the app you're using, and then tap or click OneDrive in the left pane.

Choose the folder in OneDrive where you'd like to save your file, enter a name for the file, and then tap or click Save.


To move files to OneDrive using File Explorer

When you move files, you're removing them from your PC and adding them to OneDrive. Drag files from the file list in the right pane to OneDrive in the left pane.
