What is myUTSA ID?


The myUTSA ID consists of 3 letters and 3 numbers (abc123) and is essential for accessing resources at UTSA.


What is the myUTSA passphrase?


Instead of passwords, for added security, UTSA requires a passphrase with a minimum of 15 characters. There are no restrictions on the types of characters you can use in your myUTSA Passphrase.

Your myUTSA ID and Passphrase is needed to access all UTSA resources for students and faculty and staff.

Don't know/forgot your myUTSA ID? Don't remember your myUTSA ID?

Go to the One Stop Enrollment center at the John Peace Library (JPL) with a valid photo ID or call the One Stop Enrollment Center at 210-458-8000.


What happens if I forgot or want to change my passphrase?

Visit the Passphrase Portal website.

Select the Reset your Passphrase butoon and follow the prompts. If you require further assistance, please visit a student computing lab on campus or call Enrollment Services at (210) 458-8000.
