The Teaching Online Academy is a professional development course for faculty who are interested in building a high-quality online course. The course is free and offered in a fully online format during June 1 – June 30, 2017. While quizzes, assignments, and posts have specific due dates, the course is self-paced in the sense that participants choose when and where to study and complete those required assessments. Throughout the course participants will build important components of their own online course. The estimated commitment to successfully complete the Teaching Online Academy is 40 hours.
The course features facilitation by internal staff and external faculty members with more than 40 years of experience in designing and teaching online courses.
