Projects and Initiatives
Student Affairs staff manage an ever-changing landscape of student needs and interests. Constant innovation is necessary to provide student-centric programs and services that promote operational excellence, student success and belonging.
The project management strategy is focused on effective tracking of strategic growth and innovation. With over 65 projects in progress, Student Affairs staff, at all levels, serve in leadership roles to develop new strategies and champion improvement.
Activity tracking charts are due the 5th of each month.
Project Leads gather monthly for developmental conversations to enhance these efforts. Recent topics include building timelines, effective meetings, building teams, etc. For more information on upcoming conversations, email dos@utsa.edu.
Student Affairs staff are integral to many of the university’s initiatives. Many of the current projects and initiatives are connected to larger institutional initiatives propelling UTSA forward.
