One hundred-eighty-eight students were recently selected to be a part of Who’s Who at UTSA for the 2015-2016 academic year. The annual recognition, sponsored by the Vice President for Student Affairs and coordinated by the Special Events Center, honors students who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in scholarship, leadership and service to their university and local communities.

Project Linus collects and distributes blankets to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere a child is in need. Often the recipients are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need of new blankets.
A secondary goal of Project Linus is to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children. On Sunday, February 28, 2016, at their monthly development day, the resident assistants of Housing and Residence Life participated in Project Linus.
During the conference, students will be creating hand-tied fleece blankets which will later be distributed nationally. For more information, please visit the Project Linus website.
