Dr. Hernandez (Ph.D. Memphis, 2006) is an assistant professor of philosophy in the Department of Philosophy and Classics. She publishes primarily in ethics, early modern philosophy, and existentialism, and she has research interests in ethics of care and phenomenology. Most recently, Dr. Hernandez has taught Feminist Theory and Feminist Perspectives of Women in Literature.
