“To this day when I think of UTSA, I think of how much the school has become my home.

I spent so much of my time at school, developing myself as an adult through education & extracurriculars. Every day I pushed myself to be the best person I could be in order to build a future for my child, but what I didn’t realize was that UTSA also pushed me to make good decisions by providing a diverse atmosphere that allowed me to be both a student and a mother at the same time.

When people ask me where I graduated, I am proud to call myself a Roadrunner!”
