Garages

Located on the Main and Downtown Campus, parking garages offer permit and hourly parking for university students, employees, and visitors. Garage permits are enabled with RFID technology for easy access through entrance and exit gates. Learn how RFID garage permits work.

Cashless Payment

For the health and safety of the campus community, UTSA garages have moved to a cashless payment system to help reduce transmission of the coronavirus. Campus Services encourages routine hourly parkers to purchase a FastPass. Other payment options include debit, credit and validation stickers when applicable.


Current Garage Cashier Hours of Operation
Bauerle Road Garage (BRG)
  • Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ximenes Avenue Garage (XAG)
  • Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Main Campus

Bauerle Road Garage (BRG)

Located adjacent to the Main Building and the John Peace Library, the BRG is convenient to the east side and central central core of campus.

Hourly
$2.50/hour. Payment required at paystations or cashier window before returning to vehicle. If your ticket is lost or damaged, visit a cashier window. Accepts:

  • Validation stickers (only redeemable during cashier window operating hours)

Ximenes Avenue Garage (XAG)

Located between the University Center and Applied Engineering & Technology buildings, the XAG is convenient to the south side and central core of campus.

Tobin Avenue Garage (TAG)

Located north of the McKinney Humanities, North Paseo, and Graduate Studies and Research buildings, the TAG is convenient to the north side and central core of campus.

Downtown Campus

Downtown Campus Garage (DTG)

Located off Pecos-La Trinidad Street, between Buena Vista Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard, the DTG offers convenient access to the heart of the Downtown Campus. Cashier windows are not available in this garage.

Hourly
$2.50/hour in ParkMobile spaces. Payment required upon arrival via the ParkMobile app.
